Saklikent - Tlos - Yakapark Tour

History & Fun Combined... You can find many alternatives in our country for a historical trip intertwined with nature. Especially in the Fethiye, Antalya region, you can participate in different tour organizations. A tour plan with the exact features you are looking for can be made on the road to Kemer. Starting with Tlos in this route, the itinerary includes a visit to Yakapark Springs where you can take a cold shower in spring waters. And finally, Saklikent, a canyon where you can walk approximately two kilometers, will offer unforgettable moments to visitors.

First Stop: Tlos Ancient City

Located in the Yaka neighborhood of Seydikemer, this ancient city is listed on the UNESCO World Heritage Temporary list. The region is known as Lycia and is described as a very ancient settlement area. There are steep cliffs with a height of 500 meters in the area. The surroundings of the Acropolis hill are completely sheltered naturally. The temple tombs carved into the rocks on the slopes attract a lot of attention while climbing to the castle in this area. The monumental tomb where Pegasus is depicted fighting the three-headed monster Chrimera is quite remarkable for visitors. The decorations at the entrance of the tomb room increase the interest in the structure. Inside the ancient city, there are remains such as seating rows, baths, a stadium, church ruins, and a theater. There is a six-arched gate in the city. These gates, which are still standing, are seen in the Roman-era walls south of the gate. Tlos, which passed through the Ottoman, Byzantine, and Roman periods, is an important historical richness worth seeing with its Lycian rock tombs.

Second Stop: Natural Springs

When you feel overwhelmed by the heat of the day, this second stop, Yakapark tour, is a unique resting place that will refresh you. In this area where the vast richness of nature and human labor come together, you can experience unforgettable moments where bird sounds mix with the sound of water. Starting from the Yaka village, this place, located 2 km away, becomes a place where you can cool off in clean and cold waters by escaping from the sultry air of summer days. You can have a village breakfast in the restaurants and taste the enjoyable fish menus in the trout restaurants. Sitting at the tables in the song corner and listening to the sound of the water can be a ceremony that will relax your soul. In this area, you can completely rest with the Yakapark tour and recharge your energy for the remaining stops of the trip.

Third Stop: A Hidden Paradise

You can do something different in the Saklikent canyon where the sun's rays cannot reach. This area, which can be reached 21 km after the turn towards the Kemer district, is 8 km away from the ancient city. Before entering this area, there are many roadside restaurants on both the right and left sides of the road. The canyon is reached by passing through the Kayadibi village. This area is where vehicles are left. Located on the border of Seydikemer, the canyon, when defined as a natural wonder, exactly meets its definition. Its length is approximately 18 km and its height varies between 200-600 meters.

Especially in some points, it can be seen that the gaps between the rocks narrow down to 2 meters. In these areas, it will be almost impossible to see the sky. When you enter the canyon, you are greeted by the rushing waters of the Esen River. When you walk on the wooden stairs laid on an iron pier, you can reach the water source. Benches set up on the rushing waters are decorated with the region's rugs. While your feet are cooling off in the icy waters, you can taste delicious pastries. Trout menus are also available. You can explore the canyon in this way. In this area, you can encounter many hidden paradises like this. In this area, you can experience peace and excitement at the same time by participating in rafting tours. It will provide visitors of this region with a unique pleasure and unforgettable moments. It is possible to walk two kilometers in the canyon.

You can spend a different and enjoyable day in all three stops. You can start your journey with history, continue with swimming and resting, and complete it with nature.

She was great! The tour pace was relaxed and we had plenty of time for activities at Saklikent. Highly recommend Seaside Tours to anyone in Fethiye or Oludeniz!

Saklikent trip. We booked the trip through the Oludienez office. They collected us from the hotel in a minibus, there was 12 of us in the trip 6 Turkish and 6 English and through out the whole trip the guide called Icesee (I don't know how to spell it) made us feel special. Icesee told us she grew up in the area and used to play in the tombs as a child, she knew everything about the area even walking up to show us the original sliding doors of one of the tombs (you wouldn't have noticed this otherwise). I have to say this trip would have been a great trip with any guide but it was made spectacular by our guide Icesee. Thankyou for a fantastic day.

We joined the Sakkent tour by bus to avoid getting wet and hot. We were very pleased because we realized when we joined earlier that it was a very short and fun tour with jeep safari. In the tour by bus, we stopped for a long time at the places we stayed and the guide gives professional information and tours with you. The place we ate is Yakapark Restaurant. Everything was great. Thank you seaside
